|The far distant future beyond 2150, beyond the climate apocalypse, in a decayed multi-racial world stagnating from boredom and corruption, the Crop Masters work incessantly to maintain food supplies.
The wall built around the dystopian metropolis to protect the crops is undermined by wild weather. Holes appear as the foundations wash away, and children crawl out to play in the bush. Eventually their children, then their grandchildren come out to play.
